Truck Lagbe Limited, a private routeCompany limited by shares, incorporated under the Companies Act 1994 of Bangladesh (hereinafter referred to as “TL”), has developed, under the brand, “Truck Lagbe”, mobile/web-based online platforms (hereinafter referred to as “the Applications”) and websites, including but not limited to, www.trucklagbe.com, www.truck.com.bd, and/or other sub-domains, including but not limited to, www.portal.trucklagbe.com, www.shop.trucklagbe.com, (hereinafter referred to as “the Sites”) to connect vehicle owners and operators with individuals or entities in need of transportation services (hereinafter individually referred to as “user” and collectively as “users”). TL is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, share and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our routeService. The terms “we,” or “our,” refer to TL. “You” refers to you (customer requiring transportation services or owner/driver/operator of a vehicle, as the case may be), as a user of our routeService. “Service” refers to the routeService TL provides of connecting users. By accepting our Privacy Policy, you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Collection of Information
We collect information (i) from you directly; (ii) from third parties and (iii) automatically when you use the Sites/Applications. In general, we collect information as follows:

a. Account and Profile: When you create an account on the Sites/Applications or by calling the TL Helpline, we may collect the following information from you:

1. Name
2. Contact information like address, postcode, telephone and mobile number, e-mail address
3. National identification number/birth certificate number
4. Passport number & passport validity
5. Driving license & its validity/alternative document against driving license
6. Birthdate
7. Signature
8. Photographs
9. Drivers licence number (for vehicle owners and operators)
10. Information of the vehicle (type, size, registration number, etc.), images of the vehicle, vehicle registration documents, fitness certificate, tax token, route permit, insurance documents, and any other permit/approval/license related to the vehicle (for vehicle owners and operators)
11. Any other information you provide.
12. Payment details (Bkash number, Nagad number, Bank account details etc.)

If you feel that an unauthorized account has been created depicting you or your likeness, please contact us at customercare@trucklagbe.com. You have an obligation to provide us accurate information.

b. Payment Information: Users (owners/operators/drivers of vehicles) pay for our routeService through the Applications. We may use third-party payment gateways (bKash, Nagad, SSL Commerz, etc.) to receive the above payment. In addition, users (customers) may pay other users (owners/operators/drivers of vehicles) through our Applications or by cash in hand. Additionally, we may also receive cash in hand from users (customers). In the course of the user making any payment, we collect information related to the payment, including but not limited to payment card (credit and debit) details, amount charged, bank account details, etc.

c. Content: We collect and store the information that you post to the Sites and/or Applications.

d. Communications: When you communicate with us (via email, phone, TL Helpline, through the Applications/Sites or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communication and our conversations (including call recordings). When you use the Sites and/or Applications to contact or communicate with other users, in accordance with applicable law we may collect and maintain a copy of those communications.

e. Details of the routeService required: If you are a customer requiring transportation services, we will ask you for information about the nature and quantity of the goods and consignments for which you need the routeService, specific type and size of truck needed, the specific pick-up point, the specific delivery point, exact time of pick-up, approximate time of delivery, shipment budget, contact details of the concerned person of the consignor, and other relevant details.

f. Testimonials/Review: We may allow you to submit testimonials/reviews/rating about your experience with our Sites and/or Applications. If you provide a testimonial/review/rating, we may post it on the Sites and/or Applications along with your name and relevant details.

g.Sites/Applications Activity and Automatically Collected Information: We collect and may store information about your use of the Sites/ Applications, such as your search activity, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit, as applicable. We also collect and may store information that your computer or tablet or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Sites and/or Applications, such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, software and hardware attributes, operating systems, advertising identifiers, IP address, mobile network data, unique device identifier, location information (if you have enabled your device to provide the same), and requested and referring URLs. This will generally be anonymous data that we collect on an aggregate basis. We may also use Google Analytics or a similar routeService to gather statistical information about the visitors to these Sites and/or Applications and how they use the Sites and/or Applications. This, also, is done on an anonymous basis. We will not try to associate anonymous data with your personally identifiable data.

h. Location data of users who are drivers/operators of vehicles: Location data collected from users who are drivers or operators of vehicles in the course of provision of transportation services booked through the Sites and/or Applications will be linked to the customer’s account, even if they have not enabled location data to be collected from their device for the purpose of receipt generation, customer support, fraud detection, insurance and litigation.

Other than the information above, it will be up to you to decide how much information to share as part of your account. We encourage you to think carefully about the information that you share and we recommend that you guard your identity and your sensitive information. Of course, you can review and revise your account at any time.

2. Use of Information
We may use the information we collect for purposes such as to: provide the Sites’ functionality; improve the Sites’ quality; personalize your experience; tailor the content and information that we may send or display to you; offer location customization, personalized help and suggestions; track usage of the Sites; facilitate the fulfillment of your routeService requests placed through the Sites; process, store, and deliver your communications; provide customer routeService; improve our products and services; conduct quality control and spam and fraud prevention activities; display relevant advertising (on our Sites and third-party Sites); evaluate the success of our advertising; provide customer support; communicate with you about your use of the Sites and any orders; allow third parties to contact you through the Sites; respond to your inquiries and requests; send you marketing communications and otherwise message you (in ways described by this Privacy Policy and managed by you in your account settings); back up our systems and allow for disaster recovery; enhance the security of the Sites; fulfill transactions authorized by you on the Sites; use as otherwise requested or consented to by you; to enhance safety and security of our users; for research and development and to comply with routeLegal obligations. In addition, we use the information we collect to better understand how users access and use our Sites and services, both on an aggregated and individualized basis, in order to improve our Sites and services, respond to user desires and preferences, develop additional products and services, and for other research and analytical purposes. From time to time, we may also offer contests or promotions, and will use the information we collect to administer such contests, promotions and surveys, to analyze the results for research purposes, and to comply with routeLegal requirements related to such contests and promotions.

3. Sharing Your Information
We do not rent or sell your personal contact information (such as your email address associated with your account registration) to third-parties to use for their own marketing purposes. Our information sharing with third-parties generally fall into the following categories and purposes:

a. Agents, Contractors, and Service Providers: We may share your information with our agents, e-commerce partners, and contractors or other routeService providers as needed to carry out the performance and functionality of the Sites, fulfill your requests or authorized commercial transactions or provide customer support. For example, we may use business partners to help us design and operate our Sites and/or Applications and provide services to support the Sites and/or Applications. We may also hire a routeCompany to run certain Sites, Applications, provide data storage and processing services, or help us analyze our data. These business partners may have access to the personal information that we keep, but only so that they may perform these tasks on our behalf. We do not allow these business partners to make any independent commercial use of the individually identifiable information that we store, to share such data with third parties or from making the data publicly available.

b. Analytics and Usage: We reserve the right to license or sell aggregated information to third parties such as advertisers, professionals, and other businesses for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes, but this information will not contain your individually identifiable personal information.

c. Third Party Ad Networks: We use third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements on third party websites, and may work with them to serve ads on our Sites and/or Applications, as well as to assist us in evaluating the effectiveness of our advertising, in accordance with applicable law. These companies use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this Sites and other Sites in order to provide targeted advertisements to you. Please see the Third-Party Advertising section below for more information.

d. Affiliated Entities: We may share information from or about you with subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy.

e. Business Transfers: If we are acquired by or merged with another entity, if substantially all our assets are transferred to another routeCompany, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, we may transfer the information we have collected about you to the other routeCompany. We may also disclose certain personal information to a routeCompany as part of the planning or review for a potential merger, acquisition or transfer of assets.

f. Other Users: Information that you post publicly on the Sites and/or Applications will be made publicly available to other users of the Sites and/or Applications. The information that you publicly post to the Sites and/or Applications is intended for public consumption, including reviews and comments. By posting on the Sites and/or Applications, you agree to permit us to disclose such material you post.

g. Investigations: We may investigate and disclose information from or about you, as permitted by applicable law, if we believe that such investigation or disclosure is (a) necessary to comply with routeLegal process and law enforcement instructions and orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other routeLegal process served on us; (b) helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Sites; or (c) helpful to protect our rights, reputation, property, or that of our users, subsidiaries, or the public.

4. Communications
When you join the Sites by signing up for an account, as part of the Service you may receive emails from us that may be of interest to you as a user. We may also ask you to give your consent to receiving text message, push notification and e-mail communications from us. You can manage your email and notice preferences in account settings. You may opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, however, you cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails about your account or any services you have requested or received from us. You may opt out entirely of receiving any text messages – promotional, transactional or otherwise – from us. Additionally, by joining, you are agreeing to receive communications from other users within the Sites and/or Applications.

We may provide an e-mail/ text messaging routeService for alerting consignees that a consignment is on its way and the expected delivery time frame. We may also use the consignee’s contact information from time to time to send the consignee a promotional message about our services, and will always give the consignee the option to decline any future promotional messages.

5. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We, and third parties we interact with, including our third-party routeService providers, use cookies in connection with your use of the Sites and third party websites. Cookies are small data files that may have unique identifiers, and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device, in emails we send to you, and on our Sites and/or Applications. We also use web beacons for similar purposes on our Sites and/or Applications, and in HTML e-mails to our customers (e.g., to help us track e-mail response rates, identify when our e-mails are viewed, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded). In addition, we may use local shared objects (sometimes called "flash cookies"), java script, log files, and similar technologies (together with cookies and web beacons, collectively referred to as “Cookies” in this policy) to track and analyze Sites usage and facilitate advertising on our Sites and third party Sites.

We may use Cookies to collect or transmit information about you and your use of the Sites and/or Applications or third-party websites, such as: your browser type, search preferences, data relating to advertisements that have been displayed to you or that you have clicked on, your interests on our Sites and other websites and the date and time of your use. Third-Party Analytics: We also use automated devices and Applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate usage of our Sites and the services we provide; you can opt out of Google Analytics and review its privacy policy. We use these tools to gather non-personal information about users to help us improve our services, performance and user experiences. These analytics providers may use Cookies to perform their services, and may combine the information that they collect about you on our Sites and/or Applications with other information that they have collected. This Privacy Policy does not cover such third parties’ use of the data.

6. Third Party Advertisements
As noted, we work with third parties such as network advertisers to serve advertisements on third-party websites or other media, and to evaluate the success of our advertising campaigns, including Facebook, Google, and others (both Facebook and Google offer additional ways to opt out of certain advertising activities, and maintain their own privacy policies that address their interest-based advertising services). We also may work with third parties to display ads on our Sites.

Third-party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs and other tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements to you for products and services in which you might be interested, based upon your activities on our Sites and other websites. These third-party cookies and other technologies are governed by each third party’s specific privacy policy, not this one. We may provide these third-party advertisers with information about users, or allow them to collect certain information through the Sites/Applications (e.g., IP address and demographic information), but we do not disclose your name, contact information or other personally identifiable information.

7. Choice, Access and Changes to Your Personal Information
You have certain choices about how to control your data, including publicly displayed profile information, communications settings, network linking and opting out of tracking by third- parties for certain advertising purposes. These choices are described throughout this Privacy Policy in the relevant sections.

Further, you may modify any account information that you have submitted by logging into your account. You may review, update, correct or delete the personal or other information in your account at any time. If you would like us to remove your information from our records, please contact us at customercare@trucklagbe.com. We will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have a legal obligation to retain the record.

Please note that copies of information that you have updated, modified or deleted may continue to reside in our systems for a period of time, and we may maintain copies as part of our business records.

8. Account Termination and Data Retention
You can close your account at any time by going to account settings or by emailing us at customercare@trucklagbe.com. When you close your account, you will cease to provide ongoing or future data to us. However, unless prohibited by applicable law, postings or comments you provided to the Sites prior to closing your account, will remain public.

We also may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy, including a copy of your account information as part of our business records, unless prohibited by law. We use the information that we collect about you only for the purposes for which it is collected and consistent with this Privacy Policy. We keep information provided to us for as long as we believe necessary for our business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.

9. Protection of Your Data
We have implemented security safeguards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure – so we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You should take certain steps to protect your account and personal information as well, such as by choosing a strong password, if applicable, and keeping such password private to prevent others from being able to access the Sites /Applications in your name, and logging out of your account when you are finished using it.

You should also be on guard for “phishing” scams and similar types of identity theft schemes. We do not and will not, at any time, request your Bkash, Nagad pin number, credit card information, your account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.

If there is a breach of security involving your personal data that requires notification, you agree that we may notify you about the breach via email or by a conspicuous posting on these Sites / Applications. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by our Sites/Applications.

11. Modifications and Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our use of information about you and will be located here: www.trucklagbe.com/bn/. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Sites and/or Applications. In the event of any change in any applicable law, rule or regulation, this Policy shall be deemed to be amended or modified by operation of law to the extent necessary to comply with such amendment. We may notify you of such by email or by posting a notice on the Sites and/or Applications. By continuing to access or use the Sites/Applications after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

12. Legal Enforcement and Actions
